AirVenture Australia (AVA)

AirVenture Australia, affectionately known as AVA, is an exciting three day fly-in event and airshow.

AirVenture Australia will provide a forum whereby anyone with an interest in anything that flies can come together to share their passion with a like-minded community.

AirVenture Australia is all about private and business aviation, be it GA, light business, sport or recreational.
AirVenture Australia represents an opportunity for businesses and clubs to participate in this unique event and display their clubs’ activities to a wide cross section of the aviation community.

AirVenture Australia's History

AirVenture Australia is a non profit organisation, founded to showcase the many pathways in aviation.
AirVenture Australia was inaugurated in 2016, in collaboration with four organisations - Recreational Aviation Australia (RaAus), Sports Aircraft Association of Australia (SAAA), Australian Parachute Federation (APA) and Hang Gliding Federation Association of Australia.

AirVenture Australia has quickly filled a void that existed for sport, recreation and general aviators in Australia.

AirVenture Australia was originally held at Narromine, New South Wales in 2016.  The event has grown rapidly, and the event will be held at the Parkes Regional Airport in New South Wales in 2019.

AirVenture Australia has been held at the following locations.

2016     Narromine
2017      Narromine
2018      Cessnock
2019      Parkes
