We are a small dedicated team of professionals with a passion for aviation, and ensuring this event is one that constantly improves and grows.
David is the co-visionary of AirVenture Australia, and the driving force behind the event.
David is responsible for ensuring the event grows, improves and provides a place for aviators, potential aviators and the general public to come together and meet suppliers, obtain information, look at new innovative technology and aircraft, celebrate all things aviation, socialise, be entertained, educated, and inspired.
David is busy all year round with the event whilst running his own business. He has a true passion for aviation, having been around aviators and aviation from a very young age. He was inspired to obtain his licence early on, and has had the joy of many years of enjoying all that general aviation provides.
He is passionate about general aviation progressing in Australia, and is proud to lead a team to bring this event to you.
Tania is our promotions manager and is responsible for assisting David and Sharon with the promotion of the event.
Tania will be liaising with sponsors and exhibitors to ensure our social media and website is up to date to provide information for the event attendees, sponsors and exhibitors.
She will be updating the website for all information regarding the event, to keep everyone informed.
She has a passion for flying, and has been part of team since it began.
Tania is responsible for the technology, point of sale systems, complaints handling, and helps the team with anything they need to get done.
She is often seen at the Information Desk during the event or running around the event helping out.
Sharon undertakes the administrative function for the Airventure Team.
Ensuring the administration for the event runs smoothly, she is the liaison with exhibitors, sponsors, volunteers, food vendors, the council and attendees.
Sharon is especially busy just prior to the event handling the large amount of questions, and of course handling the invoicing, payments and ticket organisation.
Sharon enjoys attending AirVenture each year, and can always be seen working hard at the Information Desk at the Event.
For those who have attended before, we are certain you would recognise her.
